The grapefruit and mandarin hit first thing in the shower and it's genuinely like a burst of morning citrus, but the bergamot keeps it from being too sweet. Lathers up thick and rinses clean without that squeaky dryness.

The nutmeg and clary sage really ground the bright grapefruit and bergamot, so it smells sophisticated rather than just fruity. Lathers up nicely and leaves my skin feeling clean without that tight, dry aftermath.

The citrus opening really does lift the whole bathroom, and that nutmeg-clary dry-down keeps it from smelling like a cheap hotel bar. I've washed my hands three times just to get another pass at the scent, and it holds up without drying my skin out.
